CMU-Q announces Campus Scholars
Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar announced the Campus Scholars for the Class of 2017. Chosen from a senior class of approximately 100 students, the four Campus Scholars embody high standards of academic excellence combined with multi-dimensional characteristics such as volunteerism, involvement in student organizations, participation in sports or the arts and strong leadership skills.

The Andrew Carnegie Society Scholar is an annual award that is given to one senior from the CMU-Q campus, chosen from among the Campus Scholars. For the Class of 2017, Yousuf Akhlaq was selected as our Andrew Carnegie Society Scholar. He will be honored in Pittsburgh in March.
