Shamila Abdul Khader worked at Weill Cornell Medical College for three years prior to joining CMU-Q. She joined CMU-Q in the Computer Science program as an administrative assistant in 2008. She moved into the Dean's Office as senior administrative assistant in 2013 and is now working as manager of the Dean's Office and executive assistant to the dean. She won the Charles E. Thorpe Distinguished Service Awards for Outstanding Innovation in 2016.
