Welcome to the Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar Alumni Web Page

The Class of 2008 at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is not only the inaugural graduating class of Carnegie Mellon’s first international undergraduate campus, these students also are the newest members of the Carnegie Mellon alumni network.

Made up of tens of thousands of people from all over the globe, Carnegie Mellon University’s alumni network provides a way for graduated students to stay connected with each other, the university, the faculty and the next generation of students.

Students who graduate in Doha have received the same rigorous education as their counterparts in Pittsburgh. Thus they are entitled to all of the same benefits, opportunities and services provided by the Office of Alumni Relations.

By registering with the Office of Alumni Relations, graduates are taking the first steps in developing and maintaining a lifelong connection to Carnegie Mellon. Members of the alumni network will receive information on university events in Doha, alumni events in the region, updates on classmates and news of major university achievements.

Members will also be able to stay involved with Carnegie Mellon and Carnegie Mellon Qatar through volunteerism, mentoring, giving guest lectures, helping recruit students and supporting the overall mission of the university.

Although becoming an alumni means your years as an undergraduate student have come to a close, it by no means signifies the end of your relationship with Carnegie Mellon University. It simply means your relationship with the university – your university – will be different and will grow and evolve with you throughout your life.

If you are a graduate of Carnegie Mellon Qatar or Carnegie Mellon Pittsburgh, please take a moment to join the Alumni Organization.
